Do I have to complete my online classroom before signing up for drives?
No. Our students (teen or adult) are placed on our waitlist by pay date with their online classroom status having no bearing until it is their turn to schedule.
How long is your waitlist?
Our waitlist can be 4-8 week. Please check with our office for current availability.
Do you provide pick up and drop off services?
1st Choice ONLY provides pick up/drop off services for teen lessons during school hours from the following high schools: Olentangy, Olentangy Orange, Olentangy Berlin, and DACC.
All after school, evening, weekend or adult lessons start and end at our facility.
Can I pay extra to get my lessons quicker?
No. We believe in strong ethics and fairness to all students regardless of financial background. Our students are scheduled in order of payment received and we do not vary from this.
What happends after I pay and register?
Once our office has received both your payment and registration you will receive our next steps email in 1-3 business days.

How do I submit my online class certificate after in-car orientation?
You may email us the direct PDF provided by the online school at Dennis@1stchoiceda.com or drop a printed copy to our office any Monday, Wednesday or Friday 10am - 5pm.
How can I schedule my license test with you?
You may schedule with our front office any time after your first drive lesson. You can email, call or come see us in the office to get your test on the calendar.
How can I schedule my license test with the BMV or other 3rd party?
You must schedule from the Ohio BMV website at bmv.ohio.gov. You will not have access to schedule until 48-72 business hours after your finial lesson; 24-48 business hours to process your certificate, 24 hours for your certificate to upload to the BMV state system. You must have your completion certificate mailed or picked up prior to your scheduled test. You will have this option at orientation.
